I have worked on a diverse range of Early Childhood music projects in collaboration with Arts organisations, Early Childhood settings, Music Education Hubs and Services, Colleges, Universities, Local Authorities, Government Bodies, and presented to MPs at the Houses of Parliament about the critical role of music in education.

In 2018, I wrote Musical Development Matters in the Early Years, a free downloadable resource designed to complement the English Early Childhood framework, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

In 2017, I was honoured to receive the Music Teacher Award for the Tune into Listening research, which I initiated and led, exploring the use of recorded music in Early Childhood settings.

I am proud to be the Co-founding Director of The Family Music Hub, a not-for-profit training organisation. The Family Music Hub supports anyone making music with 0-5 year olds and their families, with training, quality resources and an online community.
